Vancouver area Tracks
I was wondering what tracks are within a reasonable driving distance from Vancouver, for track events, DE's etc. I know there is a track in Portland, and is there one in Seattle? Are there any tracks in the lower maninland area? How many, what are the names. Thanks,I am moving to Vancouver soon, and am I just doing a little research. Where I live currently, there are no tracks so I have never experienced a DE or track event and am hoping to soon! The closest track to me is on NS in Shubenacadie, but I have not been there.

There are a few, but Portland is the most active (for racing).
For the Canada West Region (Vancouver, BC), there is Mission Raceway Park (http://www.missionraceway.com/)
For the Pacific Northwest Region (Seattle, WA), there is Pacific Raceways (http://www.pacificraceways.com)
For the Inland Northwest Region (Spokane, WA), there is Spokane Raceway Park (http://www.spokaneracewaypark.com/)
For the Oregon Region (Portland, OR), there is Portland International Raceway (http://www.portlandraceway.com/)
Here in the Pacific Northwest Region, we also use the Bremerton Airport Raceway for Time Trials and SCCA conference racing and driver schools.
Depending on how much travel you can do, there's a pretty full schedule for racing, DE, and autocross out here.

If you don't want to take a beating in the CDN/US dollar conversion, Mission Raceway is your best bet. Also, the PCA Region in the lower mainland hosts driving events at the Boundary Bay Airport which is in Delta, a suburb of Vancouver.
