Default Ghetto rigged fuel line cause no start?

I started the car recently to let it run for a little as i do every couple days..car ran perfect as it did for about a month after the complete rebuild. I went inside for 5-10mins, come back outside and the car is off and battery is dead...Charge battery and car just cranks..will not start. I know when i installed a new fuel filter i had to ghetto rig the rusted fuel line but it worked for a while and i had hard time believing this would cause a no-start. The car is getting spark although it doesn't seem like a lot of spark and it's getting fuel but idk if the pressure is where it should be. Could this be the DME or something else?

Unless the fuel line is clogged then I highly doubt it. I just replaced a faulty dme relay in my car that caused a no start. It was running fine previously and gave no indication of fault. Then I started it one day, it ran for about 20 seconds, sputtered for 2 seconds and died.
