The spherical bearings on my previous KLA mounts used to clunk as they often bound. The needle bearing (same design as Porsche OEM mounts) are much better in my opinion.

A few weeks back I posted a drawing of an adapter to mount a factory planar bearing between the Mookeh plate and spring hat. The mookeh's just need Teflon-lined sphericals inserted and a planar bearing (Porsche one) installed and you've got the same smoothness/ non-binding.
