Angry OT: Windows XP lost everything only on my account

I turned on my computer today and logged on to my account on win XP, there are three other accounts. I lost everything from my pictures to favorites, to all my Homework I had done this semester. The other accounts were fine nothing wrong. What could have happened. I mean I lost everything. I'm pretty pissed right now.

Well, that really doesnt make any sense (wait, this is a Microsoft product so I guess it does). There are undelete programs available but I am not sure whether the free ones support NTFS. I'll do some digging...

Not to praise or even speak too well of a microsoft product but at least XP does automaticly back up your data and other input. Microsoft has brought programed errors and planned obsolescence to a new high.

So you think the problem was with XP? How do you know that?

Not that I'm a big MS fan, but they have to put up with a lot of grief. I've been using XP for at least a year on one of my computers and it seems to work pretty well for my family

If you have a major problem, I understand XP has a facility that lets you go back to before the problem started. Did you try that?
