Post Hood shocks, should be easy but...

The body mount for the hood shock looks bent. I am not sure how that happened, I think the hood shock froze and bent the bracket when I tried to close the hood. Now the hood shock won't compress (could just be incredibly weak) and the ball joint won't fit in the body mount. Any suggestions?

Did the ball stud separate from the body mount?

You might want to check this <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=15;t=015164" target="_blank">thread</a>. I still have extras of the threaded ball stud I used for replacement if you want/need one.

Sure, that'd be great. It really doesn't look like I can just pop the old ball joint back in there, the hole is a bit distorted.

stermankind@hotmail.com and we'll figure out how to get that replacement up here. Thanks!
