Default Porsche motorsport splitter

I bought a new one pricey. It occured to me that I should make a male mold of it before I stick it on the 968. I believe it's not going to be too difficult to vacuum form replicas using ABS. The advantage of course is that unlike fibreglass it won't splinter to bits on impact. Would ABS be suitable in your opinion ?
