Post HELP please!

I was driving in my neighborhood and the car just shut off. There were no lights on the dash nor did any of the gauges worked, but all the other things worked, ie. a/c blower, radio, windows etc. It would crank over but not start. Is it a relay or something common on these.

What gives power to the gages. the Dme relay seems to supply power to the DME but not the gages. On study of the Wiring Diagrams it seems that both the gages and the dme relay get power from circut 15 at the Ignition switch. Is this correct?

Not sure about where the power to the gauges comes in. When I was having a similar problem, it would just turn off, like you killed the ignition. When I tried to start it the tach would bounce and the master caution would come on. Are you getting anything at the gauge cluster?

No. The master caution light nor any of the guages would come on. I bumped the electrical box and all the relays and nothing. I since have driven about 12 miles and nothing happened. Curious though, I was wiggling wire harnesses and such to try to get it to reoccur and now the air bag, seat belt and master caution are on. Electrical gremlins are so much fun!
