Post Adjusting the power seat manually

Is there any way to adjust the power seats without power? I have the 8-way power seat, and the rear-most switch is broken .. my seat angle is all the way forward rendering it nearly impossible to drive. I have a replacement switch coming in Wednesday but alas I'de like to drive it in the interim.. thoughts?

I don't have electric seats but it shouldn't be much different than a window switch

take the broken switch out and pull the plug off

then use a piece of wire to 'bypass' the switch

btw...most of these old switches can be taken apart and the worn/dirty contacts cleaned with an eraser (on the end of a pencil - works great)...a little dielectric tune-up grease and you are back in business
