I just found out that Toyo makes the Toyo Proxes T1-S in the size 225-50-15. I know alot of guys use the T1-S but it seems that they are mounted on 16 or 17 inch wheels is any one using them on the 15 inch phone dials. I know the Yokamama AVS Intermediates in the 225-50-15 are pretty good but how would they compare with the Toyos and are they worth the extra $. I donn't want to buy 16 or 17 inch wheels if I donn't have to.

I just put on yokos intermediat 225/50/15 I still think they feel a bit mushy ,more than the michlen piloit 215/60 /15. I ve put the pressure at 40 /fr 38 rear. So is it the size ,the softer compound,a different tire width, who knows, a lot of variables.I do like the look(lower)and they do grip very well even in the rain!I wish I could try yokos in 215 /60 /15 for a comparison ....
,thats my 2 cents on the tires I dont have any experience with toyo.Maybe others can help.

Thanks Paul for you reply. I've used the Yokahama AVS intermediates but on another car and yes I too feel that they have good grip but mushy feel thats why I would like to try a different tire.
