I had a MK3 Supra for ten years and they're fine cars. I spent less in maintenance in all that time than I did in the first year of owning my 951 (about $4000)! But it's a GT car and doesn't have the nimble handling of the 944.

Also on one of my must-have lists is the E30 M3. The later evo models were quite insane!

Danno, I'm going to again agree with your guruness, the e30 M3 is a must have or at least must drive car. And you can't just take it on the highway or into traffic, the 2.3L motors or the late 2.5L evo motors really need to be reved. And you really need to take one of these cars into the twisties to see why they regarded as such a great track car. In my family we have had all three generations of M3 and if I had my way I would just have the first one and with the money I saved between it and the e46M3 I would buy a 951 and a tow vehicle. But sense I already have a 951 and a tow vehicle I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up and add a e30 M3 to the garage (too bad I still don't have a garage).

And to keep the post on topic, the MrkIII supras are well built cars, but they really are heavy. The NA cars are a bit sluggish, but of course have toyota reliability.
