Post Need diagnosis

My car has recently began acting up. Occasinally it doesn't start up immediatley as it usually has in the past, maybee 1 out of every 10 times It seems to turn over for a while before catching. It has died a few times at lights, and has developed an occasionall low rpm stutter or miss. Also on deceleration I occasionally get a slight poping I'm not used to. None of these are constant, and I don't even know which of all these things my be related. Is it a fuel problem? Where should I start looking, Any Suggestions?

Thanks all,

I would attach a little LED to the VarioCam activation line so that you can monitor if its working correctly. Backfires and pops typicaly are cam-timing problems.

Although you might just have a vacuum leak somewhere...?

Some one correct me if I'm wrong but that popping noise is most likely unburned fuel igniting after the combustion chamber. This, to me would indicate an overly rich condition or not enough spark. Check your plugs. What color are they? Or maybe the fuel pressure regulator is bad?

Of course I could be way off but those are pretty simple(and cheap) things to check.
