I was just digging this thread up for someone else asking about the steering shaft. This was my solution: https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...haft%25201.jpg

Do some searching, and you can also find that I made a solution for attaching the power tie-rods to a manual rack.

Sounds good. Let me know payment info and how long it will take you to ship it out.

Don't be afraid when this shows up at your door on Monday.

The lady a Fedex got a kick out of my use of duct tape.

I recieved the package on Tuesday! It was pack very nicely. I had a few hours to spare today so I figured I try to do the swap. Everything went surprizingly smooth. Just got back from my 1st test drive and all is well. Just need to go and get her aligned now.

Couldn't ask for anything better from a seller (Brian A.)
Quick shipping, good product, and good price. Thanks!

I know the alignment will help, how does it feel? Is there an alignment setting that is different for manual vs power steering? I remember reading something about increased castor or camber helped to decrease the effort but I don't remember which one it was.
