The hole i am referring too is at the back of the car.
-Follow the Torque towards the Rear Wheels, and you will hit the Transmission.
-Where the Torque Tube enters the Transmission there should be two rubber plugs.
-One is on the Tube itself and the Large Rectangle one (more of a Trapezoid actually) is on the Transmission bellhousing.
I am not sure if S2's have this... But i would assume so...
Maybe this will help:
Below: The Grey part is the coupler; This is the part you would grab and try to twist with the car in neutral. If it twists back and forth your clutch rubber is likely bad...

ok... I finally had time to get under the car and yes the TT moves with the car in neutral. So I guess that means clutch
Just to help me understand... so the tranny side of the TT should move freely since its in neutral but the clutch side should not because its engaged? So with a good clutch the TT should not move in neutral with the clutch engaged? Yes?

With the car in neutral the transmission is not affecting the torque tube at all. And since the clutch pedal is not depressed the torque tube is directly connected to the crankshaft (engine) and should not move. (Unless the engine is moving of course)...
So if you can turn the torque tube by hand it means the rubber damper on your clutch is broken...
