New owner of an LSD tranny (question)
I bought a used box (LSD). It was nice lookin' too. (all speckle painted and stuff) It's an 87' with a cooler.
My question is that in neutral, if you spin one wheel, the other spins in the SAMEdirection. But in gear, the wheels spin in opposite directions. Does this sound right?

yes, asuming you hold the layshaft (to prevent rotation there).
It should require some force to break the friction on the LSD.
If you do not have to block the layshaft to get to this result, you may still be able to re-use the dif in your current tranny.
