hey everyone, i'm going thursday to look at a possible parts car. its an 83 with a motor with no leaks (according to the local p-wrench), auto tranny, manual sunroof, black interior with faded (not sure exactly on the condition) red exterior. no accidents, so i'm looking at a good body here. if anyone's interested in parts - nose piece, fenders, steering rack, anything that i could sell to at least recoup the cost of selling, that would be great. i dont mind shipping at all, i'll pack the stuff well and insure it if you like, just let me know what all you'd be interested in. i dont know the mileage but its a one-family car so far, so its probably in decent shape. i'll let you all know more thursday, but i'd appreciate getting some feedback on parts interest before i go to buy it.

Working Odometer, with hopefully close to my mileage showing; the speedo works, so I'd be willing to trade (Mine shows 31,555 on the mileage, obviously really 131,555. Anything close would help).

alright travis, consider one front clip spoken for. julie - i already have your vents for the quarter panels, as for the shifter, its an auto so unless you need an auto shifter... you might be outta luck with that. not sure about the mileage yet but i have a couple odometers here, one i could possibly adjust to say what you need it to, i'll look into it later this afternoon. when i get everything sorted out tomorrow i'll give you an email!

update: i've seen the car and driven it. the drivetrain is fantastic! the body, eh, but the parts are useable if you need fenders and such. travis has spoken for the front clip, but if anything else is needed let me know now. i'm also a bit short on the funds to purchase... she wants 1k... so i hope i can somehow swing this deal.

I'm still in need of a few of those little black plastic caps that cover the heads of the bolts for the seat belts. Got any of those?

Does it have A/C?
If it does not I would like to purchase the Alternator bracket, bolt's etc...in order to remove my A/C Compressor.

Man this is perfect......i have a red 83 that i got into an accident....i need a front left fender and left door with mirror and handle....no interior needed and also the rear hatch glass let me know how much for individual or all three!
