They're aluminum and bend easily. Also becoming increasingly hard to find unbent, so if still anywhere close to the original shape, they'll cost more like $150-$200 used.

With the recent amount of many parts cars ----$35-$70 (fast sale). ebay has one every couple of months. I paid $35 at 20th St Autoparts (PHX) a few years ago.

It's one of those things that often gets left off when the car is serviced. Not just Porsches either...

I sold one a couple years ago to a Lister for (I believe) $50 plus shipping, which was a PITA because of its size (and expensive). I didn't have people beating down my doors for it.

The 944 Spec guys eat these things up because so many race the lighter early cars and those took the aluminum pans. They do reduce drag and deflect debris. A local shop told me they used to throw them out or the owners did after the first oil change. Hold out for for local pick-up they are a real hassle to ship.

I have many parts cars. Only 1 belly pan. The only reason I still have it is that the car it cam off of got wrecked when the pan happend to be off and at home. That belly pan has been in the family since 1991.
