OT: Thanks to veterans
#17
To all my fellow vets; I think Dannos remarks brings out the feeling so deeply inside us.We are the ones who should never forget the reason this country is so great. We have seen ,what many will never know.Never forget freedom is not free. The price we paid was and is not cheap , but nothing good ever is.It is hard to express my feelings ,because you simply can't express it in words , but you know what I mean.
God bless you all.
God bless you all.

Ditto, Granny.
So many don't realize who they have to thank for so much.
After giving today a lot of thought, I wish I could offer more, but I did call my Dad and tell him thanks and Happy Veterans Day.
Humble Appreciation..............

I agree with all the above comments. If my 4 year old son and I see a Veteran we say "Thank You for your service", and "Welcome Home" to Vietnam vets. Some of them have never heard those words. We're Native American (Ojibwe), and we try to ALWAYS honor those who have served our country. If anyone has never been to a Pow-Wow, go, you'll be welcome. They always start with an honor song for all veterans, not just Native American. Welcome home, Danno.
