In previous posts, rennlist members have helped me by posting wiring diagrams with wire colors listed.
Where can I find these?
I have the manuals but can't put my finger on it and my home computer has a pretty tough time with those PDF documents (yeah, it's old).
Are they online?

Specifically, I want to know the color / stripes of the 12V power supply to the ignition switch / unit in the plug at the base of the steering column.

I only have the diagram for an 83 USA spec 944. It shows one red wire (pin 30) which is the 12V in from the battery. The others are outputs to the radio, starter, etc.

 

Red is pos and black is neg. anything with stripes is leaving the switch. grey solid is going out to parking lights. Red with black stripe is going out to horn and is starter solenoid neg. Yellow/blk is windshield wipers rear defogger switch. Blower relay and a circuit in the air conditioner relay. This is from haynes 83 diagram. Not sure if euro spec changes that. HTH.
