Post Aftermarket Phone dials?

What do I have here? I thought they were 15" early offset PD's but the tires I bought are too small. the tire shop said they are 16" they are all the same width (7" I think) I checked the archives and I have never seen these markings before. What do I have?

They look like 16" 951 phones to me. There should be a stamp with the offset back there like ET-xx.

Yep they have a 951 part number, just 951 phonies, those are the ones you got from me right?

If so they are 951 phone dials for sure.

My 87 951 came with 16" Phone Dials. First thing to go. Saved them though for track tires.

Ian, yes they are the ones I got from you. I finally sanded them down and re-painted them graphite gray with Duplicolor (yours looked great and I had to try it with the PD's) are they an aluminum and Magnesium mix? thats how I am reading the numbers.

I will take some pics of the rims later tonight when I get home. I left the crest unpainted so I can color them like the ones currently on my car.

Those look pretty good, you can easily fix that curb rash with a little tool from wallmart...just a thought...Bruce

I thought I posted this once before. I'm talking about this drill attachment. I set out to just clean-up the corrosion on these old rims and what the heck- take a shot at the rash. What a surprise; the tool cleaned up the rash pretty well. Take a good look at how the curb rash has disappeared in some spots (between 6:00 & 7:00). I was surprised so I had to quick get the camera.
You might want to go after the worst spots first as the abrasive quality tends to slowly go away. Mine is still usable though after 4 really bad rims.
Especially good if you're going to re-paint.
Tool cost 4.99

Is there a part number for that bit, or sepcific type (grit, etc)? I'm about to do some cookie cutters, and one has a gouge I wouldn't mind cleaning up.
