I've found a parts car in a junk yard (In Bullhead AZ, if anyone is interested). I'm taking the fenders, and front valance, but they are making me remove them myself.
What tools do I need to take with me to remove them? I need to make sure I have what I need...
Thanks,
Mark
The guy says the car is an 84', but it has a late dash, and I can't see the antenna on the fender. So either, its been switched to a late car, the VIN is wrong, or the guy doesn't know wtf he's talking about. Look on AZ craigslist if anyone needs parts.

13 mm socket & ratchet, bring extensions & wobble. A utility knife and a lighter. Cut the under body coating with the utility knife (first in close strips perpendicularly to the surface, then undercut the strips to reveal bolt head). Heat your 13 mm socket with the lighter, it will melt through the residue around the bolt head. I think the 3 on each side of the valance are 13mm also, but can be sure. You'll need at least a philips to get the little center support off. I don't recall how the braces at the bottom of the wheel arch attach to the valance. I'm sure I'm missing something. Use the utility knife to cut through the coating at the seam to thin it out and pop the fender off. This may be a scary process.

There is definitely a 10mm socket involved in there, from what I remember. +1 on the extensions (of varying lengths) and wobble. The seam sealer at the top-front of each fender was the biggest problem area I found, but finding those three bolts at the rear of each fender was a little frustrating, too.

Don't forget the one little bolt under the headlight (you need to raise them up) right at the front of the fender where it meets the nose panel. This is a 10mm IIRC and you need a 1/4" drive with wobble to get to it

don't forget the 10mm wrench to put on the nut at the front air dam bolt. Also need an 8mm to take the front header panel off and a philips since you'll be right there. Need the 10mm to be skinny aka 1/4" ratchet to get past the header panel lip to get the bolt that holds the header panel to the fender. Bring a lighter to make your 10 mm socket hot and then just push it into the three 10 mm bolts at the rear of the fender to get past the goop that they put on.
