Mine does. Not sure if this is normal or not but it just seemed strange to me. It drops just the slightest amount noticeable whenever I step on the gas regardless of gear/rpm/amount of load.
Just one of the many things I found to stare at other than 3mph traffic today

If I understand your question and description, it sounds like you may have excessive endplay on the crank. If you hold a steady speed on flat ground (only throttle to maintain) and add throttle, and the pressure drops noticeably, it could indicate excessive clearance at the thrust bearing. I had a truck that got to where it would drop 20 psi under these conditions, threw a rod about 500 miles later from the lack of pressure.

Mine does the same thing.. Like on the Highway if I accelerate the oil pressure will 'very slightly' go down, and when I let off it will 'very slightly' go up...
Honestly if it is barely noticeable (like mine), I wouldn't worry about it...

944Ros- You scared the bejesus out of me. Untill I read that it changed 20 psi?? thats crazy. I'm talking barely noticable.
pbbell- Thats exactly my situation thanks for putting it in better words for me. I was hoping somebody else was driving around like this![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)
Obviously I'll keep an eye on it

I have noticed my 951 does the same. It was only noticeable once i installed an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. If i cruise in 5th and get on it slightly oil pressure drops by maybe 5psi before coming right back up.

Mine does the same....
Cruising off throttle to low throttle, I am at 5 bars. When floored, it goes down to about 4.5 bar.... I've always wondered the cause of it.
I'm not really leaning toward engine mechanical problems (though i know it is possible). I have my oil analyzed by blackstone, and they always say and show my engine to be in pristine condition (their words).....
