Default power steering high pressure hose replacement

I have a 1991 944 S2. I can see the high pressure hose from my power steering pump to my rack leaking badly. Aside from buying the hose itself are there any special gaskets or seals that I need to replace this? Anyone have any info on this I should know before i start?

i have a brand new hose but it's for a 968. don't know why i'd be needing it, cuz i went in there and everything leaks (like i expected different ?) anyway... for now i'll try to live with it cuz it's a slow leak.

The high pressure line for the 968 is the same for the 944 S and S2.

Will I need anything else though? Are the banjo bolts the cause of the leak? Should these be replaced as well? Do you guys use teflon tape on the threads (above the hole in the banjo bolt of course.... if there are threads above the hole, I haven't looked yet.)

I bought the updated hose and a new resevoir for my 944S.

A simple swap...now...no leaky!

Does anybody switch to a non-power rack?

On my 85 BMW 535i, I took the hoses to a shop that just rebuilds hydraulic hoses. While I was there, a guy came in with a hose as thick as my arm.
They replace the hose, and keep the (metal) hardware. no leaks. I expect its way cheaper than new parts.
