I am looking for a good shop to maintain my 951 race car. I am wanting a knowlegable mech in the Ft. Myers, Naples, Cape Coral area. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Sloth, well, I know of two places, but I have never had any work done at either... I do all my own work. There is :EDIT: Eurosports :EDIT: (I thinks its called) in cape coral off Viscya in the industrial park. Then there is another shop on boyscout behind the napa, sorry I don't know the name (I have seen several 944s and an scca race car there.) I have had both shops reccommended to me, but I'm not sure if they are any good. One other source would be Kenny Williams at Partco Automotive. He just sells parts, but he knows most people in the area... They buy parts from him.
If you do your own work and ever need a hand let me know. I have a good selection of tools, a few manuals, and enjoy working on the cars. I am down there every weekend.
What area do you live in? I don't ever recall seeing an ocean blue 996 in the area, let alone a 944 Turbo R. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Scular,
I am located in Ft. Myers, right off McGregor. I had contacted Eurosport already (found them on the PBOC site), the one on Boyscout is Tills Import Car Clinic. I will have to check them both out. I am wanting a shop that has experience maintaining and setting up a race car, and a turbo one at that.
I would not mind performing my own work on the 944, I just need shop manuals and a whole lot of tools... ohh and a bigger garage... oh and a lift... and while I am at it... well maybe sometime I will have to take you up on that.
My 996 is not a daily driver (she is the queen of my garage)and the 944 is currently up in Jacksonville, FL. The 996 has the full aerokit, so it does tend to stand out a bit. The 944 is just for track use and with a stripped interior would not be all that great for the road.
I always notice Porsches in the area, what does yours look like, maybe I have seen you around. Are you in Tampa or Ft. Myers?
Thanks for the suggestions.
