Mitch...LOL Relax, it is aligned, I should have said, we wanted to get it corner balanced an re aligned at BlackForest, we aren't running it blind, we will just have to run it with the car set as it is, thats all...You'll be fine man...your cool. we have about 2.5 neg in the rears, not sure on the toe, but its pretty good the way it is. We just won't be able to "fine" tune it to willow, thats all.

See you at the track!

I had found corner exit traction problems on my 944 with that much rear camber. exiting tight corners the inside wheel would spin really badly with no LSD. I have reduce this to about 1 neg and it much better, but I think I can fine tune spring rates & sway bars to improve it further.

With the ammount of power you have you may experince similar problems.

FYI I was running 250# fronts & 28mm rear bars with welt sways front & rear on Kumho 225/50 15 and about 2450lbs weight with a stock motor.

Good Luck

Your experiences are common on "tight" tracks...however, Willow Springs is a wide open, very fast momentum track...no tight corners to be found.

John....WHEW! Glad to hear i misinterpreted that alignment thing...This thing gonna have plenty of grunt from that big block you built..just wanted to make sure it was'nt too much of a hand full out there.

We have 4 cars going to that event including: HR Boxster, HR 944 SC, HR 914/6 HSR, HR 911. Besides John you don't want us having our fun with you on your first trip out to the track do you! We have three cars in your race group now!"

Congrats on your weekend. You should have some fun when you get the car going a bit better. With all the cars we have now I am sure you will get a chance to run with us at some point. The Boxster is in your class with TCRA but not with POC. The rest our cars are in a lower class with TCRA than your car but the same with POC, go figure. Anyway I guess we will have to wait a bit to play.

THanks Derrek :-)

But I looked up the rules in the TCRA and don't see your car running in my class?? Neals Red 944 That you supercharged runs in a group higher than mine...forced induction cars run twice the actuall displacement which would be a 5 liter for neal right? Mine is a 3.1 liter, clearly in a lower class. I have no idea where Ikes c ar would place, I don't his specs...is he running a 2 liter? If so, he would be lower than me...in that case, no car would run with me. I talked with Neal today, he told me there are no timed laps at the Farrari/Pantera event at willow nov 3rd, its basically just a tuning session with cheap track time. I doubt we will go to that, its not worth burning up the hoosiers.

I don't understand what you meant about us getting our car running better...its great now, although we are getting about 15 more HP ready for the last POC race of the season at willow springs. But as it stands, it already put down multiple track times in the 33's that your red car finally reached after many years on the tgrack running the MAF kit, then the Super Charger, it has 17" wheels with 275 on all corners, and turbo brakes with a turbo limited tranny to boot. We ran the 15 inch wheels, stock 944 na brakes, and open dif, with a NA motor, and our first time out put down many times of your best, and "FINISHED" the race 7th overall in the orange group. Our FIRST time out

We'll be at the Dec. Event at willow springs...Is your team definately going to be there? It will be our second time out...look for flat 30's or even less for our times, running 15" wheels and stock brakes with open dif, see ya at the track

The Boxster is 3.6ltrs, your car is 3.1ltrs, both are modified and will therefor run in the 3.0ltr+ modified class. No need to waste bandwidth on this, actions speak volumes. See you at the track with all the various excuses you seem to have why we should be faster than your car with this equipment and that equipment. We have three cars with two more being built, just pic which one you want to play with, do the best you can and it will end up the way it ends up. Good luck out there.

Oh my goodness Derrek,

Your a talker...I love it! You have no idea what your HP is on your "boxster", it seems you have no idea how to read the rules in the TCRA, and you have yet to have a car on the track this season that has finished a race.

I'll tell you what...this is the deal.

I'll run my car against ANY car that Huntley Racing has in its house...so far I see I have the choice of a broke down Supercharged 944, a 2.0 liter "MIGHTY MOUSE", and your boxster...ok....I'll pick them all if it will help you get your butt out on the track in Dec at willow springs, For someone to see you actually race, instead of tell us about your dreams!

Now, As for the Zebra, the legend...the 600hp zebra...the 200mph plus barrier breaker at willow springs...

Bring the zebra (after all the talk you do about it, it should be finished right?), I'll race that zebra with my 84 944 NA and beat it by two days! . How is that? You gonna take it???That zebra has never had a motor in it that was above "bolt on stock", and it has not been on the track in this century, you know that, I know that, and everyone that has been at your shop knows that.

By the way, I just named our car the "MOUSE TRAP", bring on Ikes 914 2.0 liter....it should make a good picket, or at the least, a good corner worker transport vehicle...as far as your SC 944, thats in the books before you get it on the track...There is no way you will have that car running and finishing the the cup race by November! Hell, you have had all year, and its DNF'd every race, and finally blew up, your just finishing a fresh engine install as we speak! I hope you get it running again, but it won't beat our car.

Your boxster, well, that hunk of.....anyway, bring them on. Well. race anything you have to offer....

By the way, its been a while since you have gone the distance...a real race is from start to finish...ok?

"see you at the track"

Take Care!

Here's a video of John's car from last weekend at Willow Springs. Sorry about the out-of-sync sound, working on that now:

Anderson Motorworks @ Willow Springs (13mb)

You may also need to download the free DiVX 5.02 CODEC and install.

Sorry I missed the ending (moving to better grandstand bench) where Tim finally got around that 914-6 and he would've reeled in both the white 911s as well if he had another 2 laps!
