So I'm in the process of rewiring some of the burnt wiring in my car and was wondering where I could get some good quality wire for my car. I'm talking about the wiring that is under the dash that the headlight switch and guages plug into. Any help would be greatly apprecciated.

You can pick up wire at NAPA or any other such parts store.

What is the wire called.? I don't want to buy the wrong stuff. Lol. I'm pretty much not too good with wiring. This is my first time actually.

It comes in different gauges, so take a chunk with or be prepared to eyeball it.

Hello- I had the same issue happen to me. I am trying to trace a short but my entire dashboard harness is damaged.
Should I have continuity between the green/red wire and the brown wire on the headlight motor connector?
