Bosch Bypass valve
Is this a common fail part? I search the site and only came up on a couple of threads relating to the BPV's
I suspect the diaphragm is ruptured in mine. Currently I am only getting about 7 "H2O on a vacuum gauge. If i disconnect and plug the line going to the BPV, vacuum goes up to 15-16 which sounds normal. I hooked up the Vacuum pump to the BPV and it woulf not hold a vacuum reading, I repaired/replaced all the small vacuum lines yesterday (that I could see) with Autozone vacuum line material and a fe random fittings. I will redo it again when my silicone lines arrive....
Now, the hunt for a bettter BPV... any suggestions

hey man heres what I got and it works great:

It's made of metal so no plastic stuff, 3 different springs, craftsmanship is worth the money. Hope this helps.
