I've seen a few pictures around of people who have custom made a panel to replace the center vents for gauges. I'd like to do this myself, possibly source the material from a quarter panel or something.
It just seems like a better place for gauges than beneath the radio.
Has anyone does this, or seen someone who's done it?

Got no response from this so, I am treading a different path. My goal is to fit 3 gauges in this space. Here is a mock up that I've made from lexan.

Here is an update to this, tried to keep the gauge look consistent with the "theme" of the car.

Now I just need to modify the trim to allow space for the AFR gauge.

It's part of the Innovate Motorsports LC-1 wideband O2 setup. My goal was to find a gauge that was black with white lettering, 2 1/16" in size, and had an "analog" look to it. I had to paint the bezel on it black to match the others. You cant change the bezel unfortunately ![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
They are all electric gauges so they will light up when the headlamps are on, at least once they are hooked up correctly!
Probably adds up to a total of
Boost gauge /w sender: $80
Oil temp gauge /w LR drainplug and sender: $100
Wideband O2 sensor /w gauge: $210
Lexan: $10
Cheapo harbor freight dremel: $15
Total: $415 and LOTS of patience

A/C is deleted. So, this is mostly a fun car and not a DD. I'm going for a lot of weight savings, so, I kicked the A/C, back seat, etc.
I'll probably post a template when I'm done in case anyone wants to reproduce it.
