I chose to do my lenses the same color as the car. I found a material that you can paint and adhere to the lenses. And it still lets practically all the light through.

Is it possible to paint the lenses so they appear black like the rest of my car, while still letting enough light through? I think the all black look looks great, and I might be showing my age , but I think the clear lenses don't look good.

Yes you can. My P-caronline works. If you click on the pics they enlarge. Try it

Ok, I thought you meant AFTER you clicked on it to bring it to original size. So, you're saying if you click on his http://www.p-caronline.com/directory/olli/ and then click on one of those picture they don't enlarge in a new window?

Don't paint them black! The cops will have a field day, non reflectent. The paint I use still has full reflecting lenses.

I had the same problem viewing p-car online pics when I tried to enlarge them.. The problem turned out to be netscrape. Open Microsoft's Internet Explorer, and it works fine.

Damn P-CARONLINE!! Never lets me enlarge the pics!! ERR Sorry cant see much

You are joking, right? The pics can't be enlarged simply because the size is what the user uploaded. Make sense? You get 100KB per picture, and 100KB can be a decent size with good quality if you know how to optimize, with say, Photoshop.
Sorry that you can't resize the pictures on the fly. Good idea, but I wouldn't know how to do that other then with flash or quiktime or something, and that wouldn't work with the database most likely. Even then, it all depends upon the quality of the original photo the user uploaded.
