Default Ceramic??? Headers

How do I tell if a set of headers I just got (off Ebay) are Ceramic Coated (as stated?) and not just spray painted beige/gray?

Use them and see if it bakes off?

I have no idea. Have a photo?

The Porsche applied ceramic coating is inside the tubes. Hard to rattle can that deep down in the tubes.

Are they OEM or aftermarket headers? I didn't think factory units were ceramic coated.

I thought they were. Been a long time since I may have read the reviews though...

OK, so maybe it was only the exhaust ports:

The exhaust ports actually have a ceramic liner that is cast into the head when they were made. If they are cracked, the head is toast!

see, I don't think I would bother with any of that insulation stuff or anything, now if they made some kind of cover that the gas from the gas lines would just run off of so that the car not catches on fire IF you happen to have a small gas leak - that I would probably want

install them the run the car. shut it off, wait 5 minutes, if the header is still burning hot then it's not ceramic

it appears the headers where just spray painted silver (still have black carbon inside the tubes) and the "paint" scrapes off easy with a key, so what would ceramic coating cost? and where can it be done? or should I just wrap the exhaust in that exhaust tape?
