Does anyone know anything about the front spoiler on that yellow car, it is exactly what I have looking for, but can't find. This picture keeps popping up, someone has to know something.

My guess is that the front chin is from a european supplier, seeing as the car is a euro-spec.

acutally there is a funny story.. when i first got my car, it came with that funky old factory cell phone (the zach morris one) and i had pressed 0 for the operator to see what would happen. it connected to verizon wireless, and i finally started talking to the lady.. i was asking her about rates and plans and all that (all on speakerphone) and without knowing, my mom walks into the garage only to see me talking to the dashboard. the volume on the phone was so low that she couldnt hear the lady, but could hear me.. she said "your getting too obsessed with this car, now your even talking to it?"

so that answers your question, i do talk to my car.. my car is the BLACK BITCH, not night rider.. (i will accept batmobile too)

Hey Judd!
Im reporting you for attempting to turn a stone busting thread back into a technical thread!

I believe thats a violation of the community rules on this board.

BTW Lemon since this thread is all about your anatomy tell us if anyone comments on your rear end ---------- After the valance is installed of course.

Judd,

here we go.....

get some degreaser and CLEAN the tire down with a nice clean rag. then use soap and water to clean it all off. the rags HAVE to be clean because if they have grease on them, it wont let the paint stick..

once they are all dry, mask the tire off masking tape around the edges and then newspaper around that. get some primer and primer the whole wheel. let it dry (1o minutes) and take 1600 sandpaper and sand every surface area LIGHTLY.

NOW THE PAINT: you can buy paint with clear coat allready in it but i whent with a light base coat and then heavy clearcoating. for the paint, i used Plasti-Cote Mettalic black and then the clear coat i bought was made ESPECIALLY for the mettalic color.. i bought it at pep-boys.

you have to know how to paint things for this to come out right.. you dont want to spray to close, or too long in one area, or it will run.. practice on something else if you havent painted before. buy 2 cans of metallic black, and 2 cans of clear coat. the 1 can of primer should be enough if you do light coats of it.

start spraying the black and get just ONE nice coat on there. when you get that taken care of, start with your clear coat. apply about 3 or 4 coats of the clear. DONT SPRAY clear coat in the sun. it will wrinkle. the primer and base coat are ok to spray in sun, but not the clear.. start spraying clear IMMEDIATELY after spraying the black.

if somewhere DOES start to run or wrinkle, then DONT try to take paint thinner and do the wheel again.. just let it dry, then go over it with 1600 sand paper in the area thats messed up.. and just start the rim over again with the black.

this will give the rims a NICE shiny black. not dull and not TOO shiny.

if you need anymore help, let me know. i might have accidently left out some steps.

Lemon,

Nice look! How about US $50 for the turbo spoiler! Got lucky. Found each piece in a different place. Considering what Porsche gets for the small part, a measley $635.00 I'd say we did ok.
