Post Strapped on a 968 today

Today I tested a 968 Tip. Coupe my dad and I are interested in today. It was fun, but man does that Tip. rob the power from the engine. Although it does really get up and go in the high RPMs of 2nd/3rd (there are only 4). I just expected alot more off the line. It didn't seem any faster then my '44 off the line. But Tip was really fun, and it's basically what my dad wants (easy daily driver but still able to have some fun) so we may get it for him. Not 100% sure though. I talked with him today, he'll be back in town Thursday we'll go back down on Saturday to pick up my car and check out the '68.

For those of you who follow and have been helping, Tony's apologized and took my car back without any questions. He said when he drove it he thought I needed new motor mounts, but when I called him today he realized it was definately the balance shaft. They will have it done ASAP but I can't get down there until this weekend.

Well, they've kept me as a customer thus far. Let's see if they can get the smoke smell out of this white 968 and maybe the sales dept. can have me as a customer as well.
