Hey it all comes down to what you want. I do think the rain shields are a "little" rice though. The front end is a little too aggressive a departure from stock for my personal tastes but I don't think it looks bad. If you like it, great! I am glad that the body work turned out so good for you. It can really be quite a challenge to find a good body shop.

best regards,
Mad Max

Thanks for the complements and the personal opinions. I knew there would be those of you out there that would not necessarily like it and that’s all right by me. I actually agree with Third Eye on the fact that almost all after market front ends don’t necessarily match the soft lines of the original styling and somewhat make the lower front lip stick out. As for the side vents, there is a model without them. My944 “Jeremy D” Is having one put one before Hershey with out the side vents. However, in my own defense I purchased the version with the side vents because I am going to make them functional as break vents or one other possibility as a secondary oil cooler “Yet to be invented”. The front holes will be covered in a mesh to both fill the hole and to prevent rock damage. Though I am worried about making it look like a “RICE” car if it stands out too much. I will be conservative on the grilling to attempt and prevent the rice effect as much as possible. I personally do not think that this front end looks “Rice” But every one is entitled to there own opinions, the styling is IMHO, between the Turbo and the NA. I did not want the car to be a fake turbo and did not like the original styling of the N/A so this was the best option that I feel falls somewhere in-between the two. This is an assumption on the cost because I also had the car painted in the process but a cool Grand would not be out of the question for the cost of labor and the part itself. You can purchase this part from www.fiberwerks.com as most of you know and Karl is a good person to work with. I will not lie to any of you and tell you that this was and easy job. There were some difficulties in getting to look just right and I still need to work with the fog lights a bit. Well, that’s it for now. I do plan on going to another bumper here in the near future “I just don’t like the look of the US bumpers on this car” and getting the rims updated to 17 or even 18 if the look is correct but there just isn’t much more to be done. I was hoping to get the new black carpet installed before Hershey but it just doesn’t seem like there will be enough time to complete all the little stuff and have the carpet installed as well. Oh well, Thanks again.

P.S. The wind wings are just for there names sake. As a smoker I hate the wind blasing me in the face when i crack the window, this was the best option. I think they give the car a very agressive look. Just my opinion though oh and my car. LOL

Hey man, everyone is just giving their opinions. If I said "That looks dumb as hell, you should get a Civic and Rice that out instead" then I would be being a butt-hole.

If I say "In my opinion is looks Ricey" thats an opinion...FYI

Yes there is a bias. You read me like a book.

"Butt-holes" because butt-hole is such an *affectionate* derrogatory word.

Sheesh - what a bunch of "dorks".

I disagree with all of you. Somehow.

Something is different, I can't put my finger on it, but it is different. BTW-what color IS that?

TaboII,

Hey Keith,

Are those STOCK Hella fogs? They look smaller than the original and they don't seem to be angled?

Best Regards,

Jeremy (Still trying to get to Hershey)

Jon is color blind, that is why he can't tell what color it is.

How someone can be color blind and the Air Force lets them have a job where they work with a bunch of color coded wires is odd to me.

Keith,

THAT'S why the fogs did not fit! I would get a new set (they run about $130 from most places for the set) since the stock ones fit perfectly (I dry fitted mine yesterday and they line up perfect!)

I should have them in a couple of days. Thanks, I was hoping no one would really notice before I got the new ones on "JK".
