Can someone tell me either which color wires go to which sockets to the headlight motor, or tell me which socket is socket 1. I'm looking at the electrical diagrams, it tells me which colors go to which socket numbers, but on the motor it doesn't label which socket is 1, or any of the others. TIA

Not sure which is #1 but, looking at the unplugged plug front to rear. Blue/red trace-Brown-Red/Green trace-Blue/tan trace(thinner than the other

By saying the front do you mean the part of the connector closest to the manual turn **** on the motor? or the socket closest to the relay? I really want to get this right, last time I accidentally fried a cell in my battery.

 

When mine is plugged in it sits at 45' to horizontal at a slight angle to the relay.

The blue/red is at the lower/front end of the plug and closer to the relay.
