After doing some repairs on my headlamp buckets the body panel covers dont sit flush anymore. Is there a way to adjust these things so they are flush with the body? its not big deal but affects my ocd.

there are several ways to adjust them... if you look down where the bracket is that connects the headlight motor/bar/etc there are two bolts, they are on both side of the headlights... if you losen those you can slide it forwards or backwards which will adjust the front height of the buckets.
Then if you look inside towards the top near the bucket you should find a bracket the has three bolts, in the pattern of a triangle if you losen those and adjust you will change the height of the back end of the bucket (end closest to the hood).
I hope that helps, if not let me know or I'm sure someone else will chim in.

How did you get on?
I started a UK thread to ask the same question. I got it sorted very easily in the end.

It might be useful as it has pictures.

Excellent post Ray and the pictures really make a huge difference. I need to get a skinnier socket extension but the fix looks incredibly simple. I will attempt it this weekend along with installing my new side skirts.
