Question Drilling holes into the 944S2 intake??

Who has done this and how does it sound??? Loud enough to notice?? SKip was giving me a few pointers. Just curious to who has done it? Will I draw more hot air into the engine? Should I cut the entire front panel off the air box and keep the part that fastens the filter down?

LoL, It really doesnt matter.. The air is going to be cold since its in a compleatly diffrent compartment then the engine.. (I think that a cone filter is the only way to go and now with all the K&N rippoffs its really cheap too!)
