Hello All, I have a couple of questions regardng the Haynes 944 manual.
I am checking the functioning of various fuel and air system components this morning on my 87 924S and have found that manual states that each of the injectors should be getting voltage (with the ignition switched on, of course) but it fails to state what that voltage should be. I get 1.60 Volts to each of them. Does anyone know what the voltage should be for these? Is this correct voltage?
Also, in the descriptions for testing the Air Flow Sensor the manual states that the voltage between terminal #9 and ground should be 8 or more volts for non-turbo models. The trouble is there are only four terminals on this connector and they are labelled 1-4 on the sensor itself; there is no terminal #9. There are aalos some tests requiring terminal # 7 as well but the same issue stands; I only have the four labelled terminals to work with.
What is the story with this, anyone know?
Thanks in Advance,

You should be getting around 12V at the injectors. With the AFM I think they give you the terminal number at the DME. If I remember correctly there was a post here about which terminals to check on the AFM. Do a search and you should be able to find it.
