Question Turbo Oiling System

Okay Folks, this is what I want to do. I am currently rebuilding the engine on my '81 924 Turbo, the oil for the turbo is taken directly from the engine oil sump. I want to install a separate lubrication system for the turbo, this is what I have on the drawing board. From a separate oil tank, the oil is drawn from the tank through to an electric oil pump, then to the turbo, then through a cooler, then through a filter, and back in to the tank. Will this work? How big of an oil tank will I need? How big a pump? Need some feedback, thanks!

I dont see the benefit to this, you kinda want the engine to heat the oil quickly to get the viscosity right for the turbocharger so that constitutes sharing an oiling system. What problem are you trying to overcome by segregating oil systems?

Are you trying to accomplish something similar to what the electric water pump does on a 951?

Question

The turbocharger is very hard on the engine oil and breaks it down a lot faster than normal. I didn't think about the heat factor, but since the turbocharger uses exhaust for propulsion, it would seem that the heating of the oil wouldn't be problem. I also want a separate oil system for the turbocharger so the bearings will probably last longer, that is my rationale. What do you think?
