Talking My car is running!!!

After 7 months, 1 week, and about 4 hours after it died, my 944 is running again. It's good to hear that sound (although I need a new muffler, kinda rice sounding). I will be putting the finishing touches on it this weekend and hopefully have it going early next week. Now I can go on one of those pizza runs. Thanks to all you guys who helped me out with this, lots of hours leaning over and hurting back muscles finally paid off. Now on to the next stage, will be needing more help then too.

Good to hear it is back up and running. After that long, you forget what it sounds like.

The thrust bearing wore out BIG TIME and the rear counter weight on the crank slammed into the block. Glad it happend at a stop light rather than a quick trip down the highway...probably would've broken more than that.
