Post Exhaust piping help

im getting a custom exhaust fabricated and was wondering how big i should have the piping. stock is 2.25' correct?. i would like to go bigger but im not sure if i'll lose any backpressure. is 3' to big if so how do you feel about 2.5'

2.5 is the way to go. 3in is too big for a n/a.

Is stock 2.25 on turbos also?

its supposed to be 2.5 but there are some places it is ovalized and some places it is double walled reducing the ID.
