Question Need help removing cruise control brain

I'm going to take my cruise control brain to a local electronics shop to have it resoldered, but I'm having trouble getting it out of the car. I undid the spring clip and unplugged the two wiring harnesses. Problem is I can't tell what is attaching the silver box to the kick panel. It's wierd, almost like it's floating in mid air - I can slide my hand up underneath it. How is it attached??? Any tips or tricks for removal would be appreicated.

I believe there is an "L" bracket on either side about halfway down. Two bolts (one each side) holds it against the kickpanel. HTH.

Two 10mm (I think) bolts/nuts one on each side.

*[===]*

* is a 10mm
[===] is the box/brain

Might need an extension. The right one (above) is hard to see.
