as far as the bell housing, i made a short socket for the top bolt (19mm iirc)

i also notched the bell housing so i could set the sensors and put the bell housing on without removing them. in the future i am sure it may pay off.

I did the notch trick too. Pulling those sensors is a pita.

yep, one of the first things I did. They were a bit tricky but I just took my time wiggling thing around up and down till they came out.

A u-joint-adapter and a few extensions did the trick on the tricky bolt.

Although I can't get the shaft out for the release, i'm literally ready to just pull the bellhousing off, but it refuses to move because of the shaft. Is there not a way to get it out in one big unit? I'm guessing not.

Any tricks on that shaft? I almost bought a slidehammer but couldn't find any that would fit in the area.

get some threaded rod with some nuts and washers at the end. then you can tap the washers with a machinist hammer and pull it out.

i use one of the bolts that comes from the slave cylinder or the bolt that holds the shaft in place. it screws right into the shaft and yank on it real hard.

i tried this first, but had to resort to the above method.

i eventually found that the bearings in the fork had seized and the shaft was badly galled. the threaded rod/hammer method was required (along with a new shaft)

I found a long bolt, slipped a small wrench (like 11mm) over the end of it and then threaded it in. Then I pried on the wrench against something solid (get creative, use a prybar for stabilization, etc) and it worked out.

Along with the extensions and universal, consider removing the stamped steel mini-cross member under the tunnel for a better angle on the bolt.
