It's actually pretty simple. Everything from the 944 Turbo will bolt right onto the 944NA car. Just buy all these parts from the 951 and swap them out with what you already have on the car:

What's not shown is the DME/KLR computer combo. Usually about $1000 used.

But...in the end it may actually cost you more than selling your car and buying a 951...

well said Danno, no use in upgrading your na, as the turbo has better suspension, brakes, etc... <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

guys i dont think it would be that big of a deal. look at from this perspective you dont need that much boost since the CR is too high for 15-18psi, the na's dont have knock sensors so the klr would be kinda useless (i think) you could piece it from ebay and other resoursces and you dont need all the parts from the 951.. intake manifold about $50-75, exhaust manifold+crossover pipe $300-1000,left motor mount arm $50-?, turbo$200-500 (duh), intercooler $50-300 (optional), boost controler $? duct work $200-? dyno $150 some parts can be had cheaper this is all just rough estimates.

and as far as suspention thats another game, hell even the turbo guys seem to want to change that as well, so yes you do have better brakes but our stops us just fine without the extra pistons, unless you gonna put some mongo power to it.

i do agree that buying the 951 would have been better, but some folks didnt have the funds, and or the foresight to get one, i for one am one that didnt have the foresight when i got my NAs and at the time had only the fund for the NA so now that i'm moving up in the world i guess i could get a turbo car but i like my now cars, have grown attached to them, treat them as though they were family, so ya see adding on is the only option for me. thats why i'm doing a supercharger (one off) to one of mine , the qwest for speed is never ending

I could see investing in turbo charging a 3. ltr. s2 or 968 motor, but older 8valve na's would be alot less benifitial.
