One other question for you. Have you ever used the Dr.ColorChip or the Langka paint chip repair kits? My paint is original ('86 944), and while in very good condition, I'd like to try to work on some of the chips and scratches, but don't know the best way. Thanks for any advice.

Heard about Dr.ColorChip the other one no,maybe some peoples here has had sucess with those products but myself never did try them, like I mention on some previous posts ,once the car is chips & scratches short of a respray there is no miracle products for removing them. The only solution is to try to hide them as much as possible with touch up paint that you will get mixe at a body shop paint supplier or anywhere they mixe paint,be sure to give them your color code # this way it will be pretty close to your car color.
