All parts are from a 1987 951 w/ 97k miles. This car was not running when I acquired it, and the head was already off the engine. There was definitely coolant in the oil. This car had a NOS system, the PO says that the tanks had not been filled for some time.

951 mostly complete lower half, block w/pistons- $300 local pickup only- zip code 92592. Cylinders look to be in good shape, no gouges are apparent- I assume that the bottom end will need to rebuilt.

note: there is a crack at the small end of the boot, but it will not prevent a good seal.

Has the head been decked? What is the measurement for the thickness of it on each side? How are the ceramics (on the exhaust side) - any chunks missing? Any cross threaded stud holes? When was the last time the valve seals were replaced?

 

I don't think it has had any work done on it- 97k miles. I will check out the threads, ceramics, thickness, etc, and get back to you.

You might be best getting them new or from a car that isn't SO used- they will need to be painted.

I assume the injectors worked (there were a lot of other reasons the car wasn't running that had nothing to do with fuel delivery), but I can't guarantee it.

I'll have to see if i can find that other hat in my box of stuff.
