Post Yet ANOTHER problem with the 951

... so I got the tie rods to replace the shorter 86 model ones on my 87, which I thought would complete the engine install...when Im told my powersteering rack is leaky and needs to be replaced. GREAT! My cars never gonna be ready it seems... one problem after the next -
Anyone have a spare power steering rack they wanna sell me?

Right now i'm looking at just buying a used rack in working order... but if that doesn't work out, I may just look into rebuilding. Thanks!

Anyone know how hard it would be to rebuild the rack. Is there a write up on it some where?

If you want a spare rack to rebuild I have one lying around in the garage....

At least that would give you less downtime....
