Default Bridge "968" spoiler for 944

Can anyone provide me guidance on how to source a bridge spoiler for my '88 944 T? I believe these were stock on the later 944T in Europe and the S2's but not common in the US. They are the standard on the 968 and so are sometimes referred to as the 968 spoiler though first seen on the 944. I'm about to have my car in to have all the dings taken out and repainted. Seems like the time to add the bridge spoiler if I can find it. Thanks

Good luck. It is not a direct bolt on to a 944 hatch. Tabs need to be fabricated and two holes drilled for the side trim. Most people end up swapping an entire hatch. You are correct that they were first seen on 944s. The 91 S2 was the only 944 sent to the U.S. with the bridge spoiler. If you use a 968 center trim piece, it has a third brake light that will interfere with your ability to use the key in the lock.

Here you can see the third brake light. An S2 center trim piece does not have the light, so you can use your key.

I got mine from ebay.uk (just search 968 wing as it is from a vendor) not bad for the price.
