You know the new Eclipes(and all other mitsus.) now have Silver Badges....i think that may just keep me from getting one for my car....Stick with the classic look i think, besides it matches the cheesey amber turn signals...right?

....to lust for gold is not the true meaning of life, afterall it is the same color as brass from 2 feet away.. either silver or gold is a moot point....they are all precious metals, which is more precious depends on you...

(ah.. philosopher.., Oh, you mean "Bull-****ter".. Mel Brooks, History of the world, Part1)

I agree- silver looks great on white/ silver cars.

I'm not a fan of the silver crest. Just my useless opinion.

Just to throw this in

I have the silver on my 84 "which will be replaced with gold when it gets repainted" but it does not lay as flat on the nose panel as the gold.

It is not curved enough. The bottom kind of sticks out a little.

If that makes any sense.

I had the silver one on my '88 (black) when I got it, but I thought it kind of made the car look dated for some reason, so I replaced it with a shiny new gold one, and what a difference!!

The 87 has a silver badge, after a whitl the plating peels of and Voila! It's brass underneath. polish it up and it's gold.

the hood badge that came with my white 944 was completely dull and void of all color, so i replaced it with a nice bright new gold one and WOW

i really don't think silver would look better than gold on a white car, anyone have any silver crest/white car pics?

Speaking of white-out lenses, where can you get them for 944's? I bought some white-out turn signals for my Z28 a few years back and thought they looked great.
