Default How involved is installing 968 caster blocks

Just got my 969 caster blocks in the mail....How involved is it to swap these out? Do I need to drop the struts from the tower and take everything in the front end apart? Or can I just unbolt them from the body, unbolt from control arm, swap, and reverse?

I've had the whole suspension apart before, but I forget in what order I put everything back together.

Thanks
Mike

I would imagine you could simply remove the large nut from the control arm which holds the castor block in place, then remove the two bolts which hold it onto the chassis.

Yep, shouldn't take very long at all and definitely doesn't require pulling it all apart.

OK cool....someone told me it was a major job, which was not what I thought was the case based on being in there a few years ago.

Just got to get these on and then I can finally get an alignment and throw on my new wheels!

Is there a torque spec for these three bolts when putting them back on?

Yep...you should do an alignment AFTER they are installed.
