I just figured it was cheaper than the 3 bucks everyone else seems to be paying. They are from Porsche, I just know a guy that gives me deals. Either way, I was going to order about 50 for myself. If anyone finds a better deal, let me know. These are the OE part. If you can get a new OE tie for $.30, what would you sell them for? If they were like $.50 I'd get 100 just to have. It's hard to pass a good deal.

Andy, Buy a couple from your friend and send one to me so I can compare to the ones I have. The price is still crazy but if you don't have to order 1000's at a time I guess you just bend over and smile.

Brian, to avoid this problem I would go with a button mounting pad and nylon nut to hold it on. Similar to the early 944s before Porsche came up with this crazy scheme.
