Default Kevlar timing belt - did YOU re-tension?

I know it's been mentioned, and the belt is advertised, as it would not stretch

This would eliminate the need to re-tension the belt after <1000 miles of initial install/tension

Question, would this be alright? Or do it "just in case"?

I'm still going to take my car to have the belts checked with a 9201 Porsche tool.

I would have it looked at just for peace of mind. These are new for the 944 so we are learning about them.

I checked mine after a bit over 400 miles - I know, not the full 1,000 - and it hadn't changed at all. FWIW.
